Youth from Sarlahi dies after being hit by bus in Malaysia

A young man from Sarlahi has died in the line of duty in Malaysia.

Hem Bahadur Shrestha, 27, resident of Hariwan Municipality-1, Atrouli, died on Friday morning after a bus hit him on the premises of his company.

Hem Bahadur, the son of Lalit Prasad Shrestha and Indrakumari Shrestha, went to Malaysia after getting married five years ago.

Shrestha, who went to Malaysia after tying the knot with Binita Shrestha from Morang Belbari, had not returned to Nepal since then. They don't even have children.

He went to Malaysia as soon as he got married saying that there is an easy job with a good income. He had been living there for five years after extending his visa,' Taranath Pokharel, an employee of Hariwan Municipality, quoted his father Lalit Prasad as saying, "not only the family members, but also the neighbors are in mourning because of the news of his death in a road accident in Malaysia."

Shrestha, who had gone to Malaysia, returned home five years ago to get married. After coming home, Shrestha left his married wife with her parents and went back to Malaysia.

The family members have requested the local representative to take the initiative to bring Shrestha's body to Nepal soon.
