The meeting of the Federal Parliament has been adjourned for Tuesday afternoon.

The Parliament Secretariat has informed that the meeting will take place at 3 pm tomorrow.

The parliament meeting called for 1 pm today was rescheduled for 4 pm.

Top leaders of three major parties represented in the parliament held meetings twice. The meeting has been postponed after both the meetings failed to strike an agreement.

Main opposition CPN (UML) has been obstructing the parliament meetings calling for a high-level panel to investigate the 100 kilos of gold seized outside the Tribhuvan International Airport.

The party has categorically stated that it will not let the parliament run until their demand is addressed.
