Official residence of CMs and Chiefs of 7 Provinces inaugurated

The residences built for the Chief Ministers and Heads of the seven provinces have been inaugurated amidst a ceremony on Sunday.

Fourteen blocks built at Bhainsepati in Lalitpur were inaugurated and handed over to chief ministers and chiefs of seven provinces in the presence of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and nine other ministers.

According to the Ministry of Urban Development, the building has been constructed in an area of 27 ropanis and 12 anas of land with an investment of Rs 850 million. 

The project has been built as a residence and liaison office for the heads and chief ministers of all seven provines, said Urban Development Minister Sita Gurung who presided over the handover program. 

Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Shakti Basnet, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dhanraj Gurung, Communications and Information Technology Minister Rekha Sharma, Forests and Environment Minister Birendra Mahato, Industry, Commerce and Supplies Minister Ramesh Rijal, Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Anita Devi Shah, Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Prakash Jwala, Minister for Foreign Affairs NC Saud and Education Minister Ashok Rai were present in the handover ceremony.

Aside from the ministers, the chief secretary of the government, Baikuntha Aryal, and the secretaries of the ministries were also present in the program.
