Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has been offered a guard of honor at the Great Hall of the People on Monday morning.
Prachanda, who is on an official visit to China, was offered the guard of honor, prior to holding the meeting with his Chinese counterpart Li Qiang.
Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese Premier Qiang. The meeting will take place at the Great Hall of the People, according to the schedule.
Following the talks, some agreements will be signed between Nepal and China in the presence of the two prime ministers.
Prime Minister Li will then host a luncheon in honor of Prime Minister Prachanda. Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to visit the Huawei Beijing Research Center at 2 pm.
Earlier in the morning, Prime Minister Prachanda visited Tiananmen Square where he offered floral tributes at the Mao Memorial Hall before holding a bilateral meeting with Zhao Leji, the Chairman of National People's Congress.
