Nepal condemns attack on Gaza hospital

The Nepal government has condemned the inhumane attack carried out on the hospital that killed hundreds of medical personnel, patients and civilians in Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

Issuing a press note on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “We are deeply shocked by the killing of innocent civilians in a hospital in Gaza yesterday. We condemn this attack against the hospital, medical personnel, patients, and civilians and convey our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and offer prayers for the speedy recovery of the injurerd people.”

Expressing serious concerns about the attack against civilians, the Nepal government has called for the protection of the civilians under all circumstances.

“We believe in peace and urge for peaceful and negotiated settlement of the dispute,” reads the statement.
