It is a Nepali tradition to play Linge Ping, a swing built with bamboo and rope, during Dashain, the biggest religious festival for Hindus.

In the villages of Nepal, it is believed that after putting Tika on Dashain, one should play Linge Ping and leave the land.

Hence, Linge Ping has a special importance during Dashain. However, this tradition of installation of Linge Ping is gradually diminishing, of late.

Nepalkhabar reached Kattike in Shankharapur Municipality of Kathmandu on Sunday and captured some images of some people enjoying Linge Ping.
