Visiting Secretary General visits Patan Durbar Square (photos)

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, who is on a four-day official visit to Nepal starting Sunday, has inspected the Patan Durbar Square.

Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Chiribabu Maharjan, Deputy Mayor Manjali Shakya, Chief District Officer Rudra Prasad Pandit, and Chief Administrative Officer of the metropolis Birendra Dev Bharati, among others received Secretary General Guterres with a warm welcome.

Among the three famous cities of the valley, Patan, which is listed in the World Heritage Site, is considered to be the oldest city. This city was founded by Bardev. 

Prime Minister Dahal will host a dinner reception with a cultural program in honor of Secretary-General Guterres this evening.
