United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, who is on an official visit to Nepal, addressed the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Tuesday.
He addressed the joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly at 4 pm.
The joint meeting also passed a motion of thanks for the speech by Guterres.
Secretary General Guterres has already visited Everest, Annapurna Base Camp, Pokhara, Lumbini and Patan Durbar Square. He is returning to the UN headquarters in New York tomorrow (Wednesday).
