Bikal Sherchan of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has emerged victorious in Mustang Provincial Assembly (B).
Sherchan bagged 2,723 votes while his arch rival UML's Chandra Mohan Gauchan garnered 2,565 votes.
Earlier today, Namdu Gurung of the NC emerged victorious in Mustang Provincial Assembly (A).
Gurung secured 1,048 votes while his arch rival UML's Indradhara Bista trailed behind with 793 votes. Bista was elected in the last elections from the same constituency.
Likewise, Yogesh Gauchan Thakali of the same party emerged victorious in Mustang under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) category.
Gauchan Thakali, 29, won the elections by defeating CPN-UML's Prem Tulachan. He garnered 3,992 votes while his arch rival Tulachan got 3,078 votes.
Gauchan Thakali, the son of former NC leader and former minister, is an incumbent member of the party's Gandaki Province Committee.
