Shailendra Man Bajracharya of Hamro Nepali Party has been elected as a member to the Province Assembly from Kathmandu-8 (A).
Bajracharya who contested the elections with the stick as an election symbol won the elections with 5,462 votes.
His closest rival of CPN-UML received 3,711 votes.
Similarly, NC candidate received 3,670 votes.
Suman Sayami of NC and Biraj Bhakta Shrestha of Rastriya Swatantra Party are contesting the elections to the House of Representatives in this constituency.
