Janamat Party Candidate Dr Chandra Kant (CK) Raut is taking lead in the vote tally with more than double the votes secured by Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) candidate Upendra Yadav.
According to the Election Commission, Raut has received 13,759 votes while Yadav is trailing behind with 6,951 votes in the ongoing vote count for Saptari-2.
Likewise, Lokatantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP)'s candidate Jaya Prakash Thakur is in the third place with 2,857 votes. (With inputs from RSS)
