The Nepali Army is making preparations to observe the Army Day on the premises of the army headquarters in Kathmandu from January 23 to 26.
The Nepali Army will conduct photo exhibitions reflecting activities from the past to the present and showcase weapons and other military equipment during the exhibition, informed Krishna Prasad Bhandari, the spokesperson of the Nepali Army.
Visitors will receive information about military uniforms, bands, areal service, cavalry, jungle and mountain warfare, national park and wildlife sanctuaries, and peacekeeping forces, among others, from the exhibition.
The exhibition will remain open from 2 pm to 5 pm on Tuesday (January 23) and from 10 am to 5 pm from Wednesday to Friday (January 24 to 26).
The event is expected to add to the knowledge of the people and strengthen the army-public relations while fascinating with the displays, Bhandari has said.
