Patan High Court Judge Marasini no more

Patan High Court Judge Matrika Marasini passed away due to cardiac arrest on Tuesday morning. He was 56.

He was rushed to National Hospital, Kalanki at 9 am today when he complained of chest pain while at home.

Marasini breathed his last in the course of treatment at 10 am, Patan High Court Spokesperson Tirtha Bhattarai said.

He had been appointed as a judge to Patan High Court on January 3. The Judicial Council had put newly appointed judges including Marasini for an orientation class.

Once the orientation class was over, he attended the office on Monday. A bench had been assigned to Marasini for today.
