Baglung-based Image Savings and Credit Cooperatives Treasurer Laxmi Sen Sunar has been sent to jail.
Sunar, 27, who was arrested by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) on charges of embezzling funds of the depositors, has been incarcerated for further investigation.
According to the District Police Office, Baglung, Sunar, who was produced at the district court on Monday in accordance with Cooperatives Act, 2074, has been remanded in custody.
