Nepal has set a 170-run target for Bangladesh in their first Super Six match of the ICC U-19 World Cup on Wednesday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss at the Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein in South Africa, Nepal notched up 169 runs losing all wickets in 49.5 overs.
Bishal Bikram KC topped the score with 48 runs including four sixes off 100 balls followed by Captain Dev Khanal with 35 runs while Subash Bhandari and Arjun Kumal contributed 18 and 14 runs, respectively. The other batsmen could not score double-digit runs.
On the bowling side, Rohanat Doullah Borson took the highest four wickets including two maidens giving away 19 runs.
Similarly, Sheikh Paevez Jibon grabbed three wickets while Iqbal Hossain Emon, Maruf Mridha and Jishan Alam claimed one wicket each for Bangladesh.
