Six people died and seven others sustained injuries in a Bolero jeep accident in Udayapur district on Thursday morning.
The ill-fated jeep met with an accident at Mainamaini of Udayapur when it was heading to Ghodetar of Bhojpur from Dharan, said the police.
A total of 15 people were traveling in the jeep. “Of them, six passengers died,” said DSP Sudip Raj Pathak of District Police Office, Bhojpur, “Security personnel are carrying out rescue works in coordination with the locals.”
The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained, said the police.
