The death toll in the Udayapur Bolero jeep accident has reached seven after one more dead body was retrieved from the accident site.
The Bolero jeep, Ko 1 Ja 2593, met with an accident at Mainamaini of Udayapur district when it was heading to Ghodetar of Bhojpur from Dharan around 11 am today.
According to Police Inspector Dal Bahadur Rai of District Police Office, Bhojpur, the deceased are three women, three men including jeep driver Ramesh Basnet and one minor.
Security personnel with the help of locals rescued eight injured from the accident site and rushed them to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, for treatment.
A total of 15 people were traveling in the Bolero jeep, according to the police. The accident site is close to the border area of Bhojpur district.
