A nurse of Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital in Biratnagar has been found dead in the bathroom of her rented room.
The deceased is 23-year-old Chandrika Kumari Das of Siraha, Fulkahkatti. Her dead body with critical bruises was found in the bathroom of her rented room to the north of Nobel Hospital on Friday.
Chandrika had been staying in the rented room of the house belonging to Dhirendra Giri in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-4, Budhathoki Marga for the last four months.
A preliminary investigation of the police shows that she seems to have been murdered with a sharp weapon and dumped in the bathroom, said the District Police Office, Morang.
Police said they are carrying out further investigation into the case to find out the cause behind her death.
