Senior litterateur Parashu Pradhan has passed away. He was 80.
Taking to social networking sites, Prateek Pradhan, the son of Parashu Pradhan, confirmed the passing away of his father.
"My respected father Parashu Pradhan has passed away," Prateek wrote on his Facebook, "his mortal remains have been kept at Radhamohan Marga-20 for tributes till 9 am. Funeral rites will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat at 9:30 am today."
Born on February 12, 1944 in Bhojpur, Pradhan balanced his career in the administrative services of the Nepal government with significant contributions to the field of Nepali literature.
Over a dozen of his literary works including 'Sabai Birsieka Anuharharu' have been published. He had written poetry titled 'Jeevan Path' when he was 16 years old. He wrote multiple books and short stories including six children's books, and four novels during his life.
