The Nepal government has decided to waive the mountaineering fees for seven South Korean and three Nepali mountaineers.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers today waived the mountaineering fees for scaling Mt Jugal, informed Minister for Information and Information Technology and Spokesperson Rekha Sharma.
The government took this decision on the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Nepal and the Republic of Korea today.
With this decision, 10 mountaineers including seven South Koreans and three Nepalis are allowed to climb Jugal-I (6,591 meters) and Jugal-II (6,518 meters) based in Sindhupachowk district free of cost.
