An aircraft of Shree Airlines flying to Kathmandu from Dhangadhi has made an emergency landing at Bhairahawa Airport.
The aircraft of Shree Airlines with 77 passengers on board made an emergency landing at Bhairahawa Airport due to bad weather, said Gajendra Shahi, the representative of Shree Airlines.
After circling for nearly two and a half hours, the plane finally touched down at Bhairahawa Airport.
The aircraft now has flown to Kathmandu from Bhairahawa, said Shahi. “The aircraft has flown to Kathmandu from Bhairahawa,” Shahi told Nepalkhabar.
The plane had taken off from Dhangadhi Airport for Kathmandu at 7:22 am.
The weather is generally cloudy amidst rains across the country for the last three to four days. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), the weather will remain cloudy with chances of rain for three more days in the country.
