President extends New Year greetings

President Ramchandra Paudel has advised all Nepali citizens to focus on building a self-sufficient economy through the promotion of entrepreneurship and the formation of national capital.

In his message of best wishes given on the occasion of the New Year 2081 BS, the Head of the State urged one and all to gear up for the nation-building campaign and accelerate the pending projects.

"Our efforts should be for achieving a sufficient and sustainable economy through the development of national capital by promoting domestic production and development of entrepreneurship," he said.

Extending the New Year's greetings to all Nepalis living in the country and abroad, he pressed an idea for encouraging the youth workforce to engage in nation-building through the creation of jobs and opportunities within the country.

"I, hereby, urge the federal, provincial, and local governments and all the stakeholders concerned to implement policies prioritizing the promotion of education, health, agriculture, and environmental protection which are directly connected to the people's life and advance towards the accomplishment of the sustainable development goals," the President further adds.

He wished the New Year inspired all of us to promote social justice and the building of a prosperous and civilized society, keeping the earth safe and clean.

"I wish the Nepalis faced no natural disasters such as earthquakes, landslides, and floods in the year to come," the Head of the State said in the message.
