New Year comes with responsibility to create base for developing nation: PM Dahal

Prime Minister Pushpa Kumal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said the major responsibility of the government in 2081 BS is to create a strong base of developing nation through economic reform.

Giving a New Year-2081BS-message today, PM Dahal said culture of cooperation and consensus for stability, smooth public service delivery with technological adoption are equal priorities of the New Year. He believed government's efforts to these ends would create new hope and bring happiness.

The PM further reminded that the ultimate goal of all Nepalis is to bring prosperity and elevate the nation's image.

"I extend best wishes to all Nepalis that New Year 2081BS would set a historical standard for achievement and prosperity by promoting unity, mutual help, intimacy and harmonious feeling," PM Dahal stated in the message.

He also recollected the initiatives made for enforcement of federalism, good governance, recovery of economy, direct address to people's problems and improvement in international relations and diplomacy as some of the significant achievements of 2080BS.

PM Dahal wished peace, prosperity, happiness and good health to all Nepalis living in the country and abroad on this occasion. (RSS)
