A Nepali woman died in Cyprus.
The deceased has been identified as Setimaya Shrestha of Sindhupalchowk.
Shrestha, who had gone to Cyprus for domestic work, died in the course of treatment at Nicosia General Hospital on March 24.
She had been admitted to the hospital after cerebrospinal fluid had collected in her brain.
Her remains have been repatriated to Nepal after fulfilling all the necessary procedures including a postmortem examination, said the Office of the Honorary Consulate of Nepal in Nicosia.
There is a growing trend in Nepali women choosing Cyprus as a destination for domestic work, of late.
