A woman was arrested with gold weighing around 850 grams at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Friday.
The arrestee was Sahina Prabhin from India who landed at TIA via the Thai Airlines flight TG 319.
According to TIA Security Office chief senior superintendent of police, Krishnahari Sharma, the precious yellow metal was found concealed inside her inner garments.
Earlier on Thursday, police had seized unattended gold weighing 1 kilogram 70 grams from the airport.
