Three people have died when two vehicles collided in Jhapa on Wednesday moring.
The police said that three youths of around 20 years died when a motorcycle, Me 3 Pa 5001, they were riding collided with a Bolero jeep, Province 1-01-001 Cha 9329 at Shivasatakshi-8 on East-West Highway at 5:30 am today.
District Police Office, Jhapa informed that the identities of the deceased are yet to be established.
Two young men riding the motorcycle died on the spot while the other breathed his last in the course of treatment at B and C Hospital in Birtamod.
Meanwhile, the police detained Bolero jeep driver, 45-year-old Rishiraj Giri, a resident of Mechinagar-6, Jhapa.
the police said a further investigation into the case is ongoing.
