Police personnel from Nepal and China have conducted a joint foot-patrol along the border point, Koirala.
According to the Nepal police, the police personnel of both the countries carried out the foot-patrol for about two kilometers from Pillar 23 to Pillar 24 along the Koirala border point.
The border petrol has been conducted with an objective of minimizing and controlling possible border crimes, the Nepal Police said.
The joint patrol, which was conducted on Wednesday, included eight police personnel each from Area Police Office, Lomanthang representing Nepal and Liji Police Office from Chin side.
These kinds of joint patrols will help curb possible border crimes, said the Nepal Police.
