UML wins Bajhang-1 by election

CPN (UML)'s Daman Bahadur Bhandari has won the Provincial Assembly (a) by-election in Bajhang Constituency 1.

Bhandari got 11, 613 votes and defeated Abhishek Singh of Nepali Congress.

His closest rival Abhishek Singh of Nepali Congress obtained 11,346 votes, informed the Election Commission.

Similarly, Janak Budha of CPN (Maoist Center) got 3, 831 votes while Dil Bahadur Singh of CPN (Unified Samajbadi) received 2, 514 votes.
