An aircraft of Sita Air bound for Ramechhap was diverted to Kathmandu after noticing a problem with its hydraulic system.
The aircraft of Sita Air that took off from Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday morning was diverted back to Kathmandu due to a hydraulic issue and made an emergency landing at the airport, said General Manager of the TIA Jagannath Niraula.
Niraula said, “An aircraft of Sita Air, Flight No 906, bound for Ramechhap, made an emergency landing at the TIA due to a hydraulic issue. Mechanics are now investigating the technical problem with the plane's hydraulic system.”
A hydraulic issue poses challenges to an aircraft while landing, it is said.
