Two killed, 12 injured in Bhojpur jeep accident

Two people died and 12 others sustained injuries in a Bolero jeep accident in Bhojpur district.

According to the District Police Office, Bhojpur, the Bolero jeep, Ko 1 Ja 2617, fell some 200 meters from the road on Monday at a place called Amchowk Rural Municipality-8, Parkuwa.

Inspector Dalkumar Rai of District Police Office Bhojpur informed that the Bolero jeep met with an accident while it was heading to Parkuwa from Amchok in Bhojpur.

"Twenty-seven-year-old Runa Rai of Amchowk Rural Municipality-10, Pancha, and 26-year-old Shanti Rai of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-5 of Sunsari died in the accident," Inspector Rai told Nepalkhabar.

He informed that Runa died on the spot and Shanti breathed her last while being taken to hospital in Dharan.

A total of 14 people were traveling in the ill-fated Bolero jeep.
