The weather in Nepal is currently being influenced by the westerly and local winds compounded by the low-pressure system formed around the Bihar State of India.
Similarly, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy throughout the country. Light to moderate rains are forecast amidst thunderstorms and lightning in some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini and in a few places of the rest of the provinces.
Likewise, heavy rains are forecast in one or two places of Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces and light snowfall is expected in a few places of the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country toward afternoon, according to the Division.
The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy with chances of light to moderate rains compounded with thunderstorms in a few places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces tonight.
Light rain amidst thunderstorms is expected in one or two places of the rest of the provinces.
Similarly, light snowfall is likely in a few places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country tonight, according to the weather bulletin issued by the Division at 6 am today.
