Two youths have drowned in separate places in Gorkha district on Friday.
Sixteen-year-old Mesh Tamang drowned in Chepekhola at Siranchowk Rural Municipality-1, Birauta while swimming yesterday, said the District Police Office, Gorkha.
Similarly, another boy drowned in the Daraudi River in Gorkha Municipality-10, Gorkha yesterday.
The deceased has been identified as Samir Shrestha, 18, of Kamal Rural Municipality, Jhapa, said DSP Ramesh Kumar Shrestha.
