Satish Singh sworn-in as new CM of Madhesh Province

14-member cabinet formed

Satish Kumar Singh has taken the oath of office and secrecy as the Chief Minister of Madhesh Province on Friday.

Province Chief Sumitra Subedi Bhandari administered the oath to the newly elected Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Singh, in line with Article 168 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal a while ago.

Singh, following his appointment as the Chief Minister, has formed a 14-member cabinet, lawmaker Sharada Thapa told Nepalkhabar.

There are 11 ministers and three state ministers in the cabinet.

Similarly, newly elected ministers and state minsters have also taken the oath of office and secrecy a midst a ceremony. Sharada Thapa took the oath as a state minister.

Singh had been appointed as the Chief Minister with the support of 55 MPs of six different political parties this morning.
