Manakamana Cable Car based in Gorkha is set to be closed for 50 days for repair and up-gradation works, Deputy General Manager of Manakamana Cabe Car Pvt. Ltd., Ujjwal Sherchan said.
"The Manakamana Cable Car will remain closed for 50 days starting July 15 for upgradation and regular repair works," said Sherchan.
According to Sherchan, the company is making preparations to replace the main cable and upgrade the digitization system of the cable car.
Issuing a notice, the company informed the customers about the closure of the services one month ago.
The Manakamana Cable Car was established at Manakamana in Gorkha for the first time in Nepal in 2055 BS.
