Rain occurring in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki

As the monsoon is gradually spreading towards west, it is raining compounded with thunderstorms in some places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, currently. The weather is generally fair in the rest of the provinces, said Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

While the monsoon is having an impact on the eastern part of Nepal, the rest part of the country is under the influence of local winds and the low-pressure system formed in the Bihar State of India.

Similarly, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces and partly cloudy to generally fair in the rest of the provinces, according to the Division to today.

Light to moderate rains compounded with thunderstorms are expected in one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Madhesh provinces towards the afternoon.

Likewise, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy with chances of light to moderate rains amidst thunderstorms in some parts of Koshi Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces tonight, according to a weather bulletin issued by the MDF at 6 am today.
