The Nepal government has sent back 12 foreign nationals for staying illegally in the country in the last three months.
The District Police Office, Kaski along with the tourist police, arrested Canadian citizens staying illegally at Pokhara 6, Lakeside and German citizens at Pokhara-18, Sarangkot and handed them over to the Department of Immigration, Kathmandu on Wednesday, informed DSP Basanta Kumar Sharma, the information officer of DPO, Kaski.
With this deportment, the number of foreign nationals arrested for staying illegally in the country has reached 12.
The Nepal government deported 12 nationals from the United Kingdom (UK), Canada, Germany, Israel, Chile, Costa Rica, Republic of Congo in three months starting April to date, informed police.
