The weather is generally cloudy across the country this morning (Thursday). According to the Weather Forecasting Division, some places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and one or two places in Koshi and Lumbini provinces are witnessing light to moderate rains.
Currently, the monsoon low-pressure line is located around the usual position in the west, towards the north in the east, and around the borderline in the southern part of Nepal.
The weather will remain mostly cloudy across the country towards the afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in most places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces as well as some places of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces in the afternoon.
Similarly, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, one or two places of Sudurpashchim and Karnali provinces in the afternoon.
Likewise, the weather will remain partly to fully cloudy across the country tonight with chances of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at most places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces as well as at many places of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces.
Similarly, heavy rain is forecast at night in some places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, one or two places of Sudurpashchim and Karnali provinces.
Likewise, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at one or two places in Koshi, Madhesh Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces tonight.
