The rivulet blocked by an avalanche that fell at Kobang in Thasang Rural Municipality of Mustang district has started releasing gradually.
Chhiplung Rivulet had been blocked due to an avalanche that fell from above on Friday Afternoon. This rivulet mixes with another revulet locally called Bokse which lies in ward no 2.
Ward Chair Gautam Sherchan informed that the residents inhabiting along the banks of Bokse rivulet are being relocated to a safer zone.
Sherchan further shared that there will no further damages since the blocked rivulet is gradually draining out. However, the avalanche has not fully subsided.
