ANFA Women's League to start from today

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Women's League is starting today (Sunday).

Koshi Province and Waling Municipality of Syangja are facing each other in the opening match of the League.

The match will be held at ANFA complex in Satdobato, Lalitpur, after 3 pm. As many as 10 teams will compete in the first phase of the two-phase League.

Koshi Pradesh, Sudurpaschim Pradesh, and Karnali Pradesh, who are atop the points tally after passing the qualifying round in the League, have made it to the first stage.

The teams from two clubs and three departmental teams have been directly chosen for the league stage

Similarly, 3 departmental teams (APF Football Club, Tribhuvan Army Football Club, and Nepal Police Club) along with two teams from A, B, and C division clubs (Sankata Club, Bagmati Youth Club) and two municipal teams (Walling and Chandrapur Municipalities) are participating.

After 40 matches of the first round, the top five teams in the points table will play in the Super League. In the Super League, five teams will play in a double round-robin.

After 20 matches of the Super League, there will be a playoff and a final between the top four teams. The top two teams will play in the first playoff. The winner of the first playoff will advance directly to the finals. The losing team will play an eliminator.

The teams finishing third and fourth in the points table will play in the second playoff. The winner of the second playoff will play an eliminator against the loser of the first playoff. The winner of the eliminator and the winner of the first playoff will lock horns for the tile.

FIFA Connect must have at least 90 matches. Twenty matches have been played in the qualifiers. Now there will be 69 games.

The winner of the women's league title will get Rs 1 million and the runner-up will get Rs 500,000. The best player and fair play team will get Rs 100,000 each.

The best goalkeeper and top scorer will get Rs 50,000 each. The player of the match will get Rs 5,000.
