Murder-accused of Elisa Neupane, Khan lands in police net

The police have arrested a man on the charge of murdering Elisa Neupane in Makwanpur.

Elisa was found dead at Ratna Hotel at Bus Park in Hetauda-10, Makwanpur on August 26.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Lakshmi Bhandari informed that 32-year-old Samir Khan, who was on the run following the incident, was arrested from Hetauda-5, from the premises of Lattinath Temple at 6 pm on Monday.

On August 26, the police found Elisa's body in Room 205 of Ratna Hotel.

Earlier, Khan's mother Sairun Khan, 55, wife Rabina Khatun, 26, father-in-law Lalbabu Khan Paithan, 56, and brother-in-law Faiyaz Ahamad, 30, were detained, informed DSP Bhandari.

During the investigation of the incident, the police arrested them on the charge of helping Khan to escape.
