A team of Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has reached the central party office of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Banasthali to arrest President Rabi Lamichhane.
A squad under the command of SP Hobindra Bogati, who is also the spokesperson for the CIB, has reached the party office.
The CIB, earlier in the day, took an arrest warrant from the Kaski District Court to apprehend former Home Minister Lamichhane.

Meanwhile, a large number of leaders and cadres have gathered on the premises of the party office after the Kaski District Court issued an arrest warrant against Lamichhane.
Similarly, a significant number of security personnel has been deployed from the District Police Range Kathmandu and other subordinate police circles to Banasthali to preempt any onward incidents.
