The temperature has gone down across the country with the snowfall and rain.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley has decreased today than yesterday.
According to Pratibha Manandhar, a meteorologist at the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature of the Valley was recorded at 5.6 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am. It was recorded at 6.4 degrees Celsius on Monday.
This (5.6 degrees Celsius) is the lowest temperature recorded since the start of 2081 BS.
The Kathmandu Valley witnessed scanty rains on Monday after the winter season set in. Winter season sets in December in Nepal.
There is no possibility of rain in the Valley today, according to the meteorologist.
"The weather will remain mainly fair except for a few clouds in the Valley," said Manandhar.
