Nepali Congress has called for the distribution of active memberships at all levels.

A meeting of the Nepali Congress Active Membership Management Committee led by Party General Secretary Gagan Thapa made the call to this effect.

The next meeting will address the reasons behind the halt in party membership distribution at certain levels. If the district president is found to have halted active memberships, the Central Working Committee will intervene in and resume the distribution process forward, CWC member Prakash Rasaili Snehi, who is also a member of the Committee, said.

The committee has emphasized that active memberships should be distributed regularly except in the year of the general convention as per the provision.

The next meeting of the committee will be held on January 2, it is learnt.
