Cloudy weather in five provinces; snowfall and rain in Karnali and Sudurpaschim

Currently, the weather is influenced by westerly wind in the country.

The weather is partly to generally cloudy in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini, Gandaki, and Bagmati provinces on Saturday morning, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

Light rain is occurring in a few places of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces. Similarly, a few parts of high hilly and mountainous regions of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces are witnessing light snowfall.

Similarly, light to moderate rains will occur in a few places of Karnali and Koshi Provinces this afternoon, and light rain is expected in a few places of the rest of the provinces.

Likewise, light to moderate rains are expected in high lands of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Koshi provinces and one or two places of Gandaki, and Bagmati provinces toward the afternoon.

Many places of Terai and the Kathmandu Valley are currently covered by fog and mist.

Meanwhile, the Division has urged the people to take precautions from the growing cold caused by mist and fog as it might impact their daily life, agriculture, health, transportation, and aviation.
