Foreign Minister Rana condoles demise of former Indian PM Singh

Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba on Sunday paid tributes to former Prime Minister of India, Dr Manmohan Singh, by expressing grief over his demise.

Reaching the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, Minister Dr Rana signed the Condolence Book opened in memory of former Prime Minister of India Dr Singh.

She extended heartfelt condolences on behalf of the government and the people of Nepal on the passing of Dr. Singh and stated that Nepal has lost a true friend and well-wisher.

Foreign Minister Dr. Rana mentioned that Dr. Singh was a visionary leader and a true friend of Nepal and he will always be cherished by Nepali people for his support to democracy and development.

Dr. Singh passed away on December 26. He was 92.
