The minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley has decreased to 4.7 degrees Celsius today.
The temperature which was recorded at 5 degrees at 5:45 am plunged further to 4.7 degrees at 8:45 am today, the Meteorological Forecasting Division has said.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 6 degrees on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature of Jumla plunged to minus 3.7 degrees Celsius, according to the details provided by the Division.
Earlier, the minimum temperature of Jumla was recorded at 1.7 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
As the mist and fog evaporated since Sunday night, clearing the sky, the temperature plummeted.
The maximum temperature is likely to increase today as the weather will remain clear today.
