Dr. Bhim Rawal, who has recently been expelled from CPN (UML), is set to announce his new steps on Wednesday. Rawal is organizing a press conference at Karki Banquet in Kathmandu to this end.
When asked whether he is announcing a new party, Rawal said, "There will be a press conference at Karki Banquet at 1 pm on Wednesday. That’s all I can say, now."
A UML Secretariat Committee meeting held on December 25 had removed Rawal from the party, revoking his ordinary membership for allegedly breaching the party discipline.
After being expelled from UML, he has made preparations to start a new party, according to sources. He has even started writing political a dossier to this end.
Similarly, Rawal has also started meeting with leaders and cadres of various parties in Sudurpaschim Province.
