Newly appointed five ambassadors take oath from President

Newly appointed ambassadors have taken the oath of office and secrecy from President Ramchandra Paudel.

President Paudel administered the oath to five Nepali ambassadors to the Republic of Portugal, Malaysia, the Republic of South Africa, the Kingdom of Belgium and Denmark amidst a ceremony organized at Shital Niwas on Wednesday.

According to the secretariat of the President, Prakash Mani Paudel has taken the oath as the ambassador to the Republic of Portugal, Dr Netra Prasad Timsina to Malaysia, Prof Dr Kapil Man Shrestha to the Republic of South Africa, Sewa Lamsal to the Kingdom of Belgium and Sumnima Tuladhar has been sworn in as the ambassador to Denmark.

A cabinet meeting led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on July 29 had recommended new ambassadors for 18 different countries.
