CPN (Maoist Center) Central Committee (CC) member, Sudan Kirati, has demanded that the date for the special convention of the party be announced right away.
Expressing his views on the political dossier submitted by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' on Monday, Kirati said, "Let's announce the date of the special convention of the party through this meeting. Let's convert this CC meeting into the organizing committee."
He called for a campaign where one central member would be assigned to each local unit, and one ward chair per ward within the metropolitan city. Meanwhile, Kirati praised Prachanda, stating that he possessed a more democratic attitude than Lenin.
"We are proud that we have a skilled leadership," he said, "The circumstance is also in our favor. To steer the country in the right direction, a disciplined and influential party is required. To build such a party, a massive overhaul in our thoughts and the party system is necessary."
