President Ramchandra Paudel has issued the Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to Land, 2081 BS.
President Paudel issued the Ordinance in line with Article 114 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, the Office of the President said.
The government on January 10 had sent five ordinances to the President for endorsement. Four among those ordinances have already been issued by the President.
The four ordinances issued by the President on Monday include the Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to Promotion of Good Governance and Public Service Delivery, 2081 BS, the Financial Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2081 BS, the Privatization (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2081 BS, and the Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to Improvement of Economic and Business Environment and Promotion of Investment, 2081 BS.
However, the President had suspended the Ordinance to Amend Nepal Acts Related to Land, 2081 BS, citing lack of preparations.
